Yes I know I haven't updated in awhile!!!

There really isn't much to say!!! I am on the GD diet and it sucks!!! SHHHH!!! I cheated today at lunch!!! I had pizza which isn't on the diet anywhere!!! Couldn't help myself!! Hope my sugar is ok with it! My sugars in the morning are sky high like they were with Lorna. I send the levels in on Friday and I won't be surprised if I am on Glyburide by the weekend in the am!! I have been good about the diet. (except for lunch today!!) We will find out how bad that number is in like 15 more minutes! I am doing fine otherwise. The cramps have eased up and I haven't had any spotting since that one time. I am going to post some pictures too of the soap box race. Hope you all are having a great week!

Got a new lap top...

Yes I know, what a boring title. There isn't much going on around here. My DH went and got a new lap top for me -and get this- just in case I have to go on bed rest!! Do you think that is an excuse or what? Anyway, I was playing around with the new computer and I came to my web site where I saw that Lorna's photo's play all the time. This doesn't happen on my computer nor my mother's so I just wanted to know if they did this to you. I am going to have to change it so that is doesn't do that. I guess I can just link the page. I didn't want people to have to look at her, only if they wanted to. Guess I will do this latter on today. Sorry about the pictures if it does happen on your computer too.

Congratulations JENN!!!!! I am so happy for you BFP!!!!!!! Another one. Hope this is the trend for the next few weeks and there is no one left on the TTC Over a year board!!!

I was terrified of seeing her again....

I was so scared to walk thru those doors. The last time I saw her she was delivering the bad news that Lorna had gone on to Heaven. I swallowed my fears and entered in. As I was sitting in the waiting room (this took me by surprise) I was getting angry at seeing all the other women in there with big bellys. All I was thinking was that should have been me! Even though I am pregnant I just couldn't help but think about where I should have been.

Anyway, she didn't do an exam or anything she just wanted to talk to me and make sure I was emotionally ok to go back to her. Did I blame her? I think was the question on her mind. I don't I have come to terms with it was going to happen. Lorna just wasn't suppose to be my earth child. She was meant for greater things in Heaven. She discussed the Gestational Diabeties again. She has stuck me back on the diet! Yuck! I love pasta and breads!! Not on that diet at all! Anyway I gotta do what I gotta do. I have to start taking my surgars now 4x a day. and mail them into her once a week. She says that I will probably have it again. She is going to keep me on the Heprin and not change it to Lovenox. I am happy about that too. My next appointment with an u/s will be July 11.

Can You believe this???

I got a message from my RE DR on Friday afternoon after the u/s. He called my high risk OB DR and she wants to see me on Monday. Well, I am shocked at having to go to her so soon. My RE DR will see me up until there is an established heartbeat. That happened as you all know on Friday. I am just in shock that he called her right away and that she wanted to see me right away! I am glad that she is taking my Lupus Anticoagulant more serious than last time. I am glad that she is going to take me in so soon. I was just shocked that she wanted to see me so soon. Believe me I am thankful for it!

Thank you all for being so supportive of me and giving me encouragement when I needed it. I am so glad that I have my internet friends! I am so thankful for pregnancy weekly and pregnancy.org. I would have been a total basket case after my loss in Feb, if it weren't for the wonderful women giving me support there. As I moved on into the next IVF cycle I got support from all of you! You all give me strength and I am so grateful for it. Thanks again

Not Hopeful

Here it is just hours before my u/s and I am now spotting. Not going to get my hopes up on this bean just yet. I am so upset. I had spotting with Lorna but her heartbeat and ect had been established. I will let you know as soon as I know if we are expecting or expecting to m/c or not. Pray for me and my lil bean.

Ultrasound from Last week! Can you see anything?

Update on me! Since I was asked... LOL

I feel fine. I am so nervous about the u/s on Friday. I am scared to death that there will be nothing there. I am trying to stay calm about it but I must say it is starting to really bother me. The closer the day gets here the more worried I become. The receptionist was going to schedule my appointment for Thursday and I said no make it for Friday. I have put myself through 24 more hours of torture! Why did I do that??

I figured out how to post the pictures but not so they were taking up the entire screen. LOL I am going to figure it out. I will post the ultrasound photo too if I can get them to work!!

Good News on the Soap Box Front!!

My Husband and I are totally in to soap box racing also know as gravity racing. It is for kids!! My Dad has a business and sponsored my niece in it five years ago. Of coarse she grew and grew out of her car. My dad bought her another type of car (super stock) and got another child (Taylor) to race my niece's old car.

Well, last year my niece won the local. Because she won, she got to compete in a international race in Akron Ohio. She also won $1500. We went to this race last year and found that she could have been racing all summer long in what is known as rally races and another division of racing known as the NDR. We also learned of another type of car that she could race at Akron -the master's car-.

We jumped right in last year into all of this racing! Carl and I helped my Dad purchase my niece a master's car. They are expensive and he didn't want to buy it but Carl and I were hooked. Taylor grew out of her car as well and my Dad bought a used super stock car for her! Her sister Lexie was now going to race her old stock car. Carl and I being hooked bought our God daughter a stock car as well. Last January she just became old enough to drive!! (8) My dad also found another stock car to buy used so he did and my cousin Joe who is 11 is driving that one! To sum it up we have.

Yesterday was our local race! This is the race that if you win you qualify for Akron Ohio race. We didn't do so good in the stock cars but Taylor won the local!!! We were so excited for her. Carl was putting her in the shoot and telling her how to drive the coarse ect... He was so proud of her and so was I. She gets to go to the international race and my Dad now has sent to kids in a row to Akron (of coarse we all go!).

We got so many awards yesterday too. Here is the summary:

Andrea (my niece the one who started all of this) got 4th place in the local at Frederick MD. Martinsburg doesn't race master's yet so she had to compete in the nearest local.

Taylor - Super Stock - FIRST PLACE IN THE RACE!!
First place in best paint scheme!!

Courtney - Stock - First place in best paint scheme!!

Lexie - Stock 2nd place in best paint scheme!!

Joe -Stock - Got a participation trophy

All the kids got a participation trophy and certificate of achievement handed to them by our senator!! It was so much fun and as you can tell I am extremely proud to be apart of it!! My Dad was beaming yesterday with the trophies!! If someone can tell me how to post my pictures on the blog I would appreciate it so I can share the group picture of them!!

First Ultra Sound!!!

There is only one! I am happy for just the one. The dr was not going to guarantee just 1 though cause my levels were so high. However, I felt like we just got a good hitch. That is what I have been telling everyone anyway! My Dr seemed disappointed today that all he saw was the sack. That unnerved me just a little. I am only 25 days post transfer. I was only expecting to see a sack. At 23 days after the transfer of Lorna we just saw a blob. This one looks like a circle and sack is distinct. I will go back to him next Friday so hopefully we will see a baby and a heartbeat. I should be 7 weeks by then. All we can do now is hope and pray that the baby will develop and stay with us.

Finally an appointment!!

I am set for an appointment next Thursday at 840am. Hopefully we will be able to see how many sack there are. I really do hope there is only 1 and the numbers just indicated a really good attachment!

On the work front. My work says that federal department of transportation says that I have to have off a minimum of 30 days while on Cumodin. Well, I am on heprin injections and not that. My employer is thinking of having me off on disability for 26 weeks and then on to the family medical leave act. They can go above DOT regulations if they want to and since there is nothing specific about heprin they can do it if they want to. We are prepared finacially if this were to occur. Thank Goodness. I am so thankful we can afford the IVF and the special treatment I need to get a baby here.

All is well otherwise. My injections sites look terrible but if this is what I have to do to get a baby here. This is just what I will do.

Just Waiting.....

I haven't found out yet when the DR wants to see me. He normally sees his pregnant patients at 7-8 weeks for an u/s to check for a heart beat but the nurse said he would probably want to see me earlier. The receptionist did say that he was busy doing surgery and all and they would give me a call. I went in today to drop off the forms for disability. I have to take 30 days off because of the Heprin injections. It is mandatory by the DOT.(department of transportation) when on blood thinners so here I am with nothing to do but wait for the u/s.

Happy news over at Pregnancy Weekly today. Chas got her long awaited BFP!!! Congratulations!! Hope you have a healthy nine months!!
